The verses of surah an-Nas I mean is as follows;

Say, “I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind [1] The Sovereign of mankind [2] The God of mankind [3] From the evil of the retreating whisperer [4] Who whispers [evil] into the breasts of mankind [5] From among the jinn and mankind [6]. (An-Nas [114]; 1-6).

The Meaning of Surah An-Nas

(قُلۡ) The point is, “Say, O Messenger of Allah’s most noble (Prophet Muhammad)!” You should know that even though there are many models of such words in the Quran, the person in question is the Prophet Muhammad, but in fact it also applies to all Muslims, both men and women, such as the command to pray and so on.

(أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلنَّاسِ) The point is, “I take refuge in God who takes care of the good for humans and who takes care of all human needs.” The meaning of the word “God” in the verse is Allah. So, God is the God who governs all humans.

(مَلِكِ ٱلنَّاسِ) The point is that Allah is the King who rules over all humans. By the way, do you know the power and authority of a king ?! At least we can imagine it to understand the sentence. But certainly, Allah’s power and authority exceed the power and authority of a king.

(إِلَٰهِ ٱلنَّاسِ) The point is that Allah is God of all humans. Thus, all humans must worship Him, not worship others.

(مِن شَرِّ ٱلۡوَسۡوَاسِ) This sentence is related to some of the previous sentences. The point is, “That I take refuge in God (Allah) from Satan’s evil.”

(ٱلۡخَنَّاسِ) This word is an adjective for Satan. The point is, “[from Satan’s evil] who always disturbs humans when they (humans) remember their God.”

(ٱلَّذِي يُوَسۡوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ ٱلنَّاسِ) This sentence is the description for the previous sentence. The point is, “Satan is always whispering in the hearts of humans.”

(مِنَ ٱلۡجِنَّةِ وَٱلنَّاسِ) This sentence is also a further description for the previous sentence. The point is that those who whisper evil in the hearts of men are Satan and human. “

All Readers! That is a brief explanation of the meaning of Surah an-Nas. If we have read the explanation, then at least we understand that the bad whispers that Satan and humans whisper into human hearts can cause something bad to emerge. That is why we are encouraged to ask Allah for protection from their bad whispers. Do you understand? If you want to ask, please ask!

I think that’s enough for this article. May be useful! Amen!

See you in the next article!
