Jama Taqdeem

jama prayer, jama taqdeem prayer, jama takheer prayer, jama taqdeem, jama takheer,

The first important things about Jama Taqdeem and Jama Takheer that I will explain now are three important things about Jama Taqdeem. The three important things I mean are: what is Jama Taqdeem? What is the Jama Taqdeem prayer? Niyyat for the Jama Taqdeem prayer?

The explanation of three important things about Jama Taqdeem is as follows:

What Is Jama Taqdeem?

Before I explain more about “what is Jama Taqdeem?”, I want to explain that “Jama Taqdeem” is an Arabic term. The writing is: التَّقْدِيْمِ . So, the term “Jama Taqdeem” or the sentence “Jama Taqdeem” is composed of two words: and التَّقْدِيْمِ.

The meaning of the word “Jama” or “Jamu” (جَمْعُ) is to combine. While the meaning of the word “Taqdeem” (التَّقْدِيْمِ) is to put first. If we understand the explanation of the meaning of the word for word, then we will understand that what is meant by “Jama Taqdeem” (جَمْعُ التَّقْدِيْمِ) is to combine several things into one and it takes precedence or is done at the beginning of time.

So, “Jama Taqdeem” (جَمْعُ التَّقْدِيْمِ) is one of the terms that describes one of the ways to perform the obligatory prayers. This is the basic explanation of “Jama Taqdeem”.

What Is Jama Taqdeem Prayer?

If we already understand that what is meant by “Jama Taqdeem” (جَمْعُ التَّقْدِيْمِ) is to combine several things into one and it takes precedence or is done at the beginning of time, then we can understand the term “Salat Jama Taqdeem” very easily. That what is meant by “Jama Taqdeem Prayer” is to combine two obligatory prayers into one and do it at the beginning of time. That is the meaning of the Jama Taqdeem prayer.

There is one important thing that you must understand about the Jama Taqdeem prayer or combining two obligatory prayers into one, that it should not be done haphazardly, and that not all prayers should be combined into one. In Islamic legal literacy, the types of obligatory prayers that may be combined are Dhuhr and Asr prayers, Maghrib prayers and Isha prayers. We should not combine the Fajr prayer with other prayers, such as, for example, combining the Fajr prayer with the Isha prayer, or combining the Fajr prayer with the Duhr prayer. In addition, we are also not allowed to combine the Dhuhr prayer with the Maghrib prayer or the Isha prayer or combine the Maghrib prayer with the Asr prayer or the Dhuhr prayer.

So, an important rule in the Jama Taqdeem prayer is that the Dhuhr prayer can only be combined with the Asr prayer and the Maghrib prayer can only be combined with the Isha prayer. So, if you want to perform the Jama Taqdeem prayer by combining the Dhuhr prayer and the Asr prayer, then you have to do that at the time of the Dhuhr prayer. If you want to perform the Jama Taqdeem prayer by combining the Maghrib prayer and the Isha prayer, then you have to do it at the time of the Maghrib prayer. That is the Jama Taqdeem prayer.

Niyyat for Jama Taqdeem Prayer

Niyyat for the Jama Taqdeem prayer is one of the important things in the Jama Taqdeem prayer. If we mispronounce Niyyat, then our prayer is invalid. Now I will give you an example if you want to perform the Jama Taqdeem prayer.

If you want to perform the Jama Taqdeem prayer by combining the Dhuhr prayer and the Asr prayer, then the Niyyat is as follows:

أُصَلِّى فَرْضَ الظُّهْرِ أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ مَجْمُوْعًا بِالْعَصْرِ جَمْعَ تَقْدِيْمٍ لِلَّهِ تَعَالَى

I intend to perform the Dhuhr prayer of four rak’ahs by combining the Asr prayer, in Jama Taqdeem, because of Allah Taala.

Jama Takheer

The second important thing about Jama Taqdeem and Jama Takheer that I will explain now are three important things about Jama Takheer. Three important things I mean are: what is Jama Takheer? What is Jama Takheer prayer? Niyyat for the Jama Takheer prayer?

The explanation of three important things about Jama Takher is as follows:

What Is Jama Takheer?

Before I explain more about “what is Jama Takheer?”, I want to let you know that “Jama Takheer” is an Arabic term. The writing is: التَّأْخِيْرِ . So, the term “Jama Takheer” or the sentence “Jama Takheer” is composed of two words: and التَّأْخِيْرِ.

The meaning of the word “Jama” or “Jamu” (جَمْعُ) is to combine. While the meaning of the word “Takheer” (التَّأْخِيْرِ) is to end. If we understand the explanation of the meaning of the word for word, then we will understand that what is meant by “Jama Takheer” (جَمْعُ التَّأْخِيْرِ) is to combine several things into one and it comes first or is done at the end of time.

So, “Jama Takheer” (جَمْعُ التَّأْخِيْرِ) is one of the terms that describes one of the ways to perform the obligatory prayers. This is the basic explanation of “Jama Takheer”.

What Is Jama Takheer Prayer?

If we already understand that what is meant by “Jama Takheer” (جَمْعُ التَّأْخِيْرِ) is to combine several things into one and it comes first or is done at the end of time, then we can understand the term “Salat Jama Takheer” very easily. That what is meant by “Jama Takheer Prayer” is to combine two obligatory prayers into one and do it at the end of time. That is the meaning of the Jama Takheer prayer.

There is one important thing that you must understand about the Jama Takheer prayer or combining two obligatory prayers into one, that it should not be done arbitrarily, and that not all prayers should be combined into one.

So, an important rule in the Jama Takheer prayer is that the Dhuhr prayer should only be combined with the Asr prayer and the Maghrib prayer should only be combined with the Isha prayer. So, if you want to perform the Jama Takheer prayer by combining the Dhuhr prayer and the Asr prayer, then you have to do that at the time of the Asr prayer. If you want to perform Jama Takheer prayer by combining Maghrib prayer and Isha prayer, then you have to do that at Isha prayer time. That is the Jama Takheer prayer.

Niyyat for Jama Takheer Prayer

Niyyat for the Jama Takheer prayer is one of the important things in the Jama Takheer prayer. If we mispronounce Niyyat, then our prayer is invalid. Now I will give you an example if you want to do Jama Takheer prayer.

If you want to perform the Jama Takheer prayer by combining the Dhuhr prayer and the Asr prayer, then the Niyyat is as follows:

أُصَلِّى فَرْضَ الظُّهْرِ أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ مَجْمُوْعًا بِالْعَصْرِ جَمْعَ تَّأْخِيْرٍ لِلَّهِ تَعَالَى

I intend to perform the Dhuhr prayer of four rak’ahs by combining the Asr prayer, in Jama Takheer, for Allah Taala.

Difference Between Jama Taqdeem and Jama Takheer

The third important point about Jama Taqdeem and Jama Takher that I will explain here is the difference between the two sunnah prayers. I want you to understand that so you can understand our topic very well.

In general, there are three important differences about Jama Taqdeem and Jama Takher that we must understand. The three differences I mean are as follows:

Difference Meaning of Jama Taqdeem and Jama Takheer

I have explained a lot about the meaning of Jama Taqdeem (جَمْعُ التَّقْدِيْمِ) and Jama Takheer (جَمْعُ التَّأْخِيْرِ). I will not repeat that explanation again in this article. To remind you, I will now only summarize the literal meaning of the two terms.

What Jama Taqdeem (جَمْعُ التَّقْدِيْمِ) means is to combine several things into one and do it at the beginning of time. Therefore, what is meant by the Jama Taqdeem prayer is to perform two obligatory prayers at the time of the first prayer.

As for what Jama Takheer (جَمْعُ التَّأْخِيْرِ) means is to combine several things into one and do it at the end of time. Therefore, what is meant by the Jama Takheer prayer is to perform two obligatory prayers at the time of the second prayer.

Time Difference Between Jama Taqdeem and Jama Takheer

If we understand some of the explanations above, then we can conclude that the time difference between Jama Taqdeem (جَمْعُ التَّقْدِيْمِ) and Jama Takheer (جَمْعُ التَّأْخِيْرِ) is in the time of doing it. That Jama Taqdeem is performed at the beginning of time and Jama Takheer is performed at the end of time.

For example, if you want to perform the Jama Taqdeem (جَمْعُ التَّقْدِيْمِ) prayer which combines the Maghrib prayer and the Isha prayer, then you have to do it at the time of the Maghrib prayer. But if you want to perform the Jama Takheer (جَمْعُ التَّأْخِيْرِ) prayer which combines the Dhuhr prayer and the Asr prayer, then you have to do it at the time of the Asr prayer.

The difference in the time of performing the Jama Taqdeem (جَمْعُ التَّقْدِيْمِ) prayer and the Jama Takheer (جَمْعُ التَّأْخِيْرِ) prayer is one of the important things that Muslims who want to do it must know, because if they choose the wrong time to do it, then their prayer is invalid.

Niyyat Difference between Jama Taqdeem and Jama Takheer

The Niyyat differences between Jama Taqdeem and Jama Takher are as follows:

I intend to perform the Dhuhr prayer of four rak’ahs by combining the Asr prayer, in Jama Taqdeem, because of Allah Taala.

Niyyat for Jama Takheer (جَمْعُ التَّأْخِيْرِ)

أُصَلِّى فَرْضَ الظُّهْرِ أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ مَجْمُوْعًا بِالْعَصْرِ جَمْعَ تَّأْخِيْرٍ لِلَّهِ تَعَالَى

I intend to perform the Dhuhr prayer of four rak’ahs by combining the Asr prayer, in Jama Takheer, because of Allah Taala.
