We can find an explanation that all the skin of the body must be watered when bath after sex or Janabah bath in the following hadiths:

From Ali ibn Abi Talib radliyallaahu anhu, “Allah’s Messenger sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam said, “Whoever has got the place of hair from janabah, then he will use this and like this in Hell.”

From Aisha radliallahu anha, she said, “if the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam bathes from the janaba, then he begins by washing his hands, then he takes precedence to wash his right hand from the left body then he washed his anus. Then he graduated. Then he took water and put his fingers into the base of the hair. Then he poured three hands of water three times. Then he drained water over all his bodies. Then he washed his hands. “The hadith was narrated by al-Bukhari and Muslim.

From Abu Hurairah radliyallaahu anhu, he said, “Allah’s Messenger sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam has said, “Indeed, under every hair there is a janabah. Wash your hair and clean the skin!” The hadith is narrated by Abu Daud and at-Tirmidhi.

In Islamic legal literature, the obligatory Dua before bath after sex according to Islam or before Janabah bath is understood as “Niyyah”. That’s the difference between bath after sex or Janabah bath and regular bath.

In general, in the Dua for bath after sex (bath Janabah) there must be a niyyah explanation for doing it, and that the aim is to remove the major hadas due to sex. A Muslim who is about to perform the Janabah bath must be aware that it is an obligation that must be done for the sake of Allah Taala, not for anything else.

An example of Dua for bath after sex according to Islam is as follows:
