Are you searching for a description of reasons why wudu is important? If your answer is “Of course”, congratulations! Currently you’re reading the best short post. Why? Because that is what I will discuss in this short post. As Muslims, we must understand that. That is why I composed this short post. So, you must read it throughout!

Particularly, there are two essential points about reasons why wudu is important which I will discuss in this short post. Some of the essential points I mean are as complies with:

What Does Wudu Mean?

The initially essential point about reasons why wudu is important what I will discuss currently is “what does wudu mean?”. I want you to understand that first before you learn more explanations in this short post because that’s the basic point in this conversation that must be well comprehended.

Literally, the meaning of wudu is clean and divine. We can find this description in the meaning of wudu listed below:

Wudu in Arabic means clean and divine.

Whereas the meaning of wudu in Islam is using divine sprinkle to wash several components of the body and subjecting several components of the body to remove small pollutants that can prevent someone from praying. We can find this description in the meaning of wudu in Islam listed below:

Wudu in Islam is using divine sprinkle on certain components of the body recommended by Sharia.

Some of the body components concerned are the face, 2 hands, head, and 2 feet, with the aim of getting rid of all points that impede an individual from praying.

Generally, Muslims do wudu before prayer and read the Quran.

We can find the regulate to perform wudu in the Quran listed below:

O you who have believed, when you rise to [perform] prayer, wash your faces and your forearms to the elbows and wipe over your heads and wash your feet to the ankles. And if you are in a state of janabah, then purify yourselves. But if you are ill or on a journey or one of you comes from the place of relieving himself or you have contacted women and do not find water, then seek clean earth and wipe over your faces and hands with it. Allah does not intend to make difficulty for you, but He intends to purify you and complete His favor upon you that you may be grateful. (Al-Maidah [5]: 6).

That’s a short description of ” what does wudu mean?”. As Muslims, we must understand that.

The 2nd essential point about reasons why wudu is important what I will discuss currently is 10 reasons why wudu is important. So, I truly hope that you read the description listed below very well.

The 10 reasons why wudu is important are as complies with:

Wudu is the essential way to obtain eliminate small hadas

Small hadas (الحَدَثُ الأَصْغَرُ) is among the points that can damage the pureness of Muslims. If they have small hadas, they may not pray. In Islam, small hadas can be removed by wudu. We can find this description in the hadith listed below:

From Abu Hurairah radiyallahu anhu, that the Messenger of Allah (Prophet Muhammad) sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, “Allah does decline someone’s prayer from you if he has hadas (small hadas) until he performs wudu.” This hadith was told by al-Bukhari and Muslim.

Wudu is among the indications that an individual belongs to individuals of the Prophet Muhammad in the hereafter

On the Day of Judgment all humans will be reanimated from their graves. They’ll be held responsible. During that time all people will be collected in Mahsyar.

Wudu is an indication that differentiates the Prophet Muhammad’s individuals from other individuals during that time. We can find this description in the hadith listed below:

From Abu Hurairah radliyallahu anhu, he said, “I have listened to the The Messenger of Allah (Prophet Muhammad) sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said, “Verily my individuals on the Day of Judgment come with white light in all participants of wudu (arm or legs cleaned and wiped in wudu) from the previous wudu. Whoever of you can extend his white light, after that let him do that.” The hadith is told by al-Bukhari and Muslim.

Wudu is among the highly suggested worships in Islam

I hope you remember the sentence فَمَنْ اِسْتَطَاعَ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ يُطِيْلَ غُرَّتَهُ فَلْيَفْعَلْ in the hadith over. That’s one recommendation for Muslims so that they constantly have wudu.

The Prophet (Muhammad) sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said, “Whoever performs wudu and makes his wudu great (perfects his wudu by bring out all the responsibilities and suggestions in wudu), after that his sins will come from his body until they come out of under his nails.” The hadith is told by Muslim.

From Abu Hurairah radliyallahu anhu, he said, “The Messenger of Allah (Prophet Muhammad) sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said, “If a Muslim or believer performs wudu and after that washes his face, after that his sins come from his face where he sees immorality with his eyes full of sprinkle or completion of the sprinkle splash. If he washes his hands, after that the sins of his hands are forgiven with sprinkle or with the last splash of completion. If he washes his feet, after that the sins of his feet are forgiven with sprinkle or with the last splash of sprinkle until he is totally clean from all sins.” The hadith is told by Muslim.

Wudu is among the reasons Muslims can enter Paradise

We can find this description in the hadith listed below:

From Umar radliyallahu anhu, he said, “The Messenger of Allah alaihi wa sallam said, “It’s not among you that performs wudu after that perfects it, after that says, “I affirm that there’s no god but Allah that has no companion, and I affirm that Muhammad is His slave and His Carrier,” other than the 8 doors of Paradise have been opened up for him. He can enter any door he desires.” The hadith is told by Muslims and at-Tirmidhi. He (at-Tirmidhi) included another editor, “O Allah, make me amongst those that repent and make me consisting of those that are cleansed.”

There’s a sunnah that particularly motivates Muslims to constantly have wudu

The description of this 6th point coincides as the description in the 3rd point. I hope you remember the sentence فَمَنْ اِسْتَطَاعَ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ يُطِيْلَ غُرَّتَهُ فَلْيَفْعَلْ in the hadith listed below:

From Abu Hurairah radliyallahu anhu, he said, “I have listened to the The Messenger of Allah (Prophet Muhammad) sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said,” Verily my individuals on the Day of Judgment come with white light in all participants of wudu (arm or legs cleaned and wiped in wudu) from the previous wudu. Whoever of you can extend his white light, after that let him do that.” The hadith is told by al-Bukhari and Muslim.

That’s the sunnah that particularly motivates Muslims to constantly have wudu.
